The Meitetsu Inuyama Hotel opened in 1965, sited along the Kiso River, in Aichi Prefecture, with a view of Inuyama Castle, a National Treasure. On the grounds of the hotel is a traditional garden, including the Jo-an teahouse, constructed in Kyoto in 1618 and moved to its present site at the hotel in 1971.
